If you’re like us and hum the songs “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure” all day long, consider yourself an  Encanto  superfan. And as a superfan, you’ll be excited to learn that there’s a new, never-before-seen  Encanto  clip that was just released by one of the animated film’s co-directors, Jared Bush.

We considered an after credit joke to end the movie, but ultimately felt going out on the emotion and joy of the family coming back together was the way to go… but the hilarious @darrinbutters animated it!! So here you go! THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR WATCHING WITH US!! #ENCANTO pic.twitter.com/XUMn6IfgeF

According to Bush,  Encanto  almost wrapped up with this funny post-credit ending. Filmmakers, however, decided to cut the scene in favor of focusing on the Madrigal family. “We considered an after-credit joke to end the movie, but ultimately felt going out on the emotion and joy of the family coming back together was the way to go,” Bush tweeted along with the scene.

Although filmmakers decided to cut the humorous ending, Disney animator Darrin Butters chose to animate the scene as it was written. It’s only a five-second snippet, but we’re glad he did. In it, the Madrigal family’s Casita gets the last laugh when it douses Chispi, the fluffy capybara character, with water from its gutter.

That’s hilarious!! Love it!! I was waiting for a post-credit scene in theaters so this delivers.

The poor little Chispi is just minding its own business eating grass and fixing to relieve itself outside when the Casita decides to detach part of its gutter and drop a couple of gallons of water on the capybara’s head. Chispi, of course, is shocked when the water splashes and runs off. We’d like to think Chispi found greener pastures, but you can’t get much lusher and more colorful than the natural environment around the Madrigal’s home. Some fans even want to see Chispi spinoff into its own franchise.

El Capibaraaaaa!!! Aaamoo!!! That little fellow has so much potential for a short films series
